IPAS was established in 1996 with a few believers, and by the Grace of God has grown substantially. In 2006,God provided our own church facility, located 5 miles south of Seattle and 2 miles north of SeaTac international airport. IPAS is committed to give special emphasis for our young adults by providing Sunday school, youth seminars, debates, retreats and music. Please feel free to contact for more information on how to attend any of our church services, and browse through our website for weekly audio sermons, online bible study, and testimonies.

a brief history

The history of the first India Pentecostal Assembly of Seattle in Washington State began in April 1996 at a home in Federal Way, Washington State.  Few malayalee believers from the State of Kerala came together in a home at Federal way, Washington State with a desire to worship God in truth and spirit, thus began the first worship service in Malayalam.  For the first few months, Pastor. Samuel Chacko provided leadership to this small group.

In May 1996, the church decided to employ a part time pastor and searched for a suitable candidate. During that time Pastor. C V. Andrews came to Seattle for a visit. Having understood our need for a pastor, he recommended Pastor. Victor George from Florida State. In June 1996, he joined IPAS as a part time pastor.
To accommodate more believers, in August 1996 the church moved to a classroom in Trinity Community Church, Kent, Washington. The church slowly began to grow and added more believers with the blessing of our Lord Jesus Christ. In 2005, the church moved to a community center, SeaTac, Washington. 1n 2006, God enabled us to purchase a church in Seattle, Washington State. In 2013 the church bought a parsonage for the pastor.

Pastor. Victor George's term ended in June 2007. Pastor. M O Samuel joined IPAS as the Senior Pastor on July 2007 and his term ended on June 2012.  Pr. P C Abraham (Florida) joined IPAS as the Senior Pastor on July 2012 and his term ended on March 2019. Pr. Roy Thomas (San Antonio) joined IPAS as the Senior Pastor on April 2019.

we believe

the scriptures inspired
  1. The Holy Bible consisting of SIXTY SIX BOOKS is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (Heb. 4:12; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; 2 Tim. 3:15-17)

The one true god
  1. The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed "I AM", and has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association of the Trinity as the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 43:10-11; Matt. 28:19; Mark. 12:29; Matt. 3:16-17; John. 14:16-17)

The salvation of man
  1. The grace of God, which bringeth salvation, hath appeared to all men through the preaching of repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, and being justified by grace through faith, he becomes heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. (Luke. 24:47; Rom. 10:13-15; Titus. 2:11, 3:5-7).

the church
  1. The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of His great commission. the blessed hope
  1. The pre-millennial Second coming of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord, is imminent and is he blessed hope of the Church. (Rom. 8:23, 1 Cor. 15:51-52; 1 Thes. 4:16-18: Titus. 2;13)

the millennial reign of christ
  1. The revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of all Israel, and the millennial reign of Christ on the earth is the scriptural promise and the world's hope. (Rom.11:25; 2 Thes. 1:7; Rev. 19:11-16; 20:1-7)

the lake of fire
  1. The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whosever is not found written in the Book of Life shall be cast into everlasting punishment: into the lake that is burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15).
